Opening of 3-2-1 Qatar and Olympic Sports Museum
#QatarCreates includes a full roster of events, new cultural offerings, and dialogue, with the official opening of the 3-2-1 Qatar and Olympic Sports Museum at the Khalifa Stadium on 31 March taking centre stage. 3-2-1, which will become the newest member of the Olympic Museums Network, is one of the world’s largest and most innovative and technologically advanced museums dedicated to sports. Designed by Spanish architect Joan Sibina, the museum is testament to Qatar’s commitment towards building a healthier and more active population, a key component of the Qatar National Vision 2030. The museum presents unique exhibits and a remarkable collection that highlights the role of sports in cultural development by exploring the history and contemporary significance of the Olympic Games, stories of sporting heroes from around the world, as well as the inspiring development of sports in Qatar. The collection also examines the massive impact that mega sporting events hosted by Qatar have made in recent decades.

10th Anniversary
A decade goes by quickly when you’re greeting the world.
This is the 10th Year of Culture. So many new ideas and collaborations have been created over the past decade from Qatar-Japan in 2012 until now, when for the first time, we're partnering with an entire region - MENASA. Here’s to many more years of connecting with old friends and friends to be.
