Culture isn’t confined to galleries or archives anymore. In 2026, it’s alive in motion, in the laughter shared over a meal, the reels that traverse languages, and the small moments that reveal what connects us all.

As the Years of Culture initiative begins its tri-nation journey between Qatar, Canada, and Mexico, it embraces a new era of cultural storytelling: the creator era. Moving beyond traditional diplomacy, this year introduces an inaugural Creator Cohort of eleven Qatari voices whose creativity, curiosity, and authenticity will capture this exchange and translate it for audiences around the world.

Building on last year’s trailblazing cohort, 2026 welcomes two fresh creators whose perspectives expand the growing story of connection that defines the Years of Culture.
