Dar Al Maghrib Pavilion
A 1,300-square-metre cultural pavilion opened in MIA Park, inspired by UNESCO World Heritage site Ksar Aït Benhaddou.
Officially inaugurated on November 1 by HE Sheikha Al Mayassa Bint Hamad Al-Thani and HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, the pavilion explores Morocco's heritage through four thematic zones: Land of Confluence, Land of Light, Land of Gathering, and Land of Passion.
The free-entry space features traditional zellige tilework and wooden ceilings crafted by Moroccan artisans, along with multimedia installations showcasing UNESCO-recognised heritage sites. Visitors can watch demonstrations of traditional crafts including embroidery, leather painting, and Bzioui weaving. A gift shop and tearoom offer Moroccan products and refreshments.
