Years of Culture has partnered with well-known Qatari media personality and athlete Ali bin Towar Al Kuwari to launch "CultuRide: Morocco," a cycling tour dedicated to cultural exchange and exploration as part of the Qatar-Morocco 2024 Year of Culture.
This second edition of the tour brought together over 40 cycling athletes and enthusiasts from Qatar and Morocco, who covered 600 kilometres across Morocco's famed landmarks and hidden gems. The seven-day journey stretched from Marrakech to Tangier, passing through traditional Berber villages in the Atlas Mountains.
The tour included immersive cultural experiences, featuring hands-on workshops and direct encounters with local residents, while local Moroccan cyclists joined the tour to share unique insights into their communities and traditions.
