Portals in Flux

Featuring works by 15 Qatar-based artists from Fire Station’s artist-in-residence programme, Portals in Flux is a group exhibition exploring thresholds and movement.

Rooted in the desert, cosmos, daily rituals, or home spaces, each piece acts as a portal to another state of being or perception. Developed over nine months of research and experimentation during the artists' residency, the works weave sound, texture, scent, and atmosphere into immersive sensory experiences.

Years of Culture continues to highlight talented artists, designers, and innovators from the MENASA region, building on the legacy of the Qatar-MENASA 2022 Year of Culture.
