Doha Film Experience - Palestine Exhibit Labour of Love

MIA or Katara Hills (Cinema Under the Stars) 

As part of 2022 MENASA Year of Culture in collaboration with QM, who will be showcasing "Labour of Love" an exhibition that explores Palestinian Embroidery. DFI’s Public screening series will shine a light on Palestinian cinema and will be inspired by works presented in the QM Exhibition. It will also be an opportunity to collaborate with Palestinian filmmakers, multi-disciplined artists and organisations.

FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ Doha Film Experience

From 22nd November to 16th December 2022, in popular venues across the city, Doha Film Institute will bring audiences together during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.

Visiting fans and residents are invited to enjoy an eclectic line-up of screenings, including family-friendly favourites, film classics, and exclusive thematic offerings.

As part of the Qatar-MENASA Year of Culture, DFI in partnership with Qatar Museums, will highlight the 27 countries and diverse range of cultures represented in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia regions.

10th Anniversary

A decade goes by quickly when you’re greeting the world.

This is the 10th Year of Culture. So many new ideas and collaborations have been created over the past decade from Qatar-Japan in 2012 until now, when for the first time, we're partnering with an entire region - MENASA. Here’s to many more years of connecting with old friends and friends to be.
