Manga Style Artist Talks at EXPO 2025 Osaka

At EXPO 2025 Osaka, Qatar Museums will showcase the Year of Culture Manga Book, a legacy project featuring the four winning stories from the “Manga Style!” competition. The competition was launched in 2022 in celebration of friendship and 50 years of diplomatic relations between Qatar and Japan.

Visitors can enjoy artist talks where the winners share their creative journeys, live sketching sessions in anime, manga and watercolour styles, and interactive workshops where participants can design their own characters. 

The programme will also feature two cultural panel talks, focusing on youth, Qatari culture, and the heritage of coffee, offering a deeper look at the traditions and values that connect the two countries.
