Indonesian Ceramic Residency Project

As part of the legacy of the Qatar-Indonesia 2023 Year of Culture, the Ceramic Residency Project brings renowned Indonesian ceramicist Francisca “Kika” to Doha for a six-week creative residency.

Hosted in collaboration with Liwan Design Studios and Labs, this project blends the ceramic traditions of Qatar and Indonesia. Working closely with local artists and craftspeople, Kika will produce a body of collaborative ceramic works that reflect shared values and heritage through clay. She will also offer a series of Pottery Fun Classes every Friday from 3 to 6 PM.
