How Women Drive Innovation Across Culture
Four Seasons Hotel, Doha
On International Women’s Day 2017, Siemens Qatar invited women with key roles in the world of culture, commerce and politics to an event for women on the subject of “Culture and innovation” at the Four Seasons Hotel in Doha.
The event was attended by an exclusively female audience of around 200 invited guests from Germany, Qatar and international countries.
Janina Kugel, a Director and Board Member of Siemens AG, gave a talk on what it means to be a working woman and driver of innovation. In a panel discussion with leading women from Qatar and its German community, she presented innovation as a key criterion for leadership roles amongst women.
The aim of the event was to demonstrate approaches to supporting women in finding greater success and to explore commonalities between the two cultures, as part of the Qatar-Germany 2017 Year of Culture.
