During the Qatar-France 2020 Year of Culture, Fashion Trust Arabia showcased its 2020 jury during the Paris Fashion Week in January. Fashion Trust Arabia shone a spotlight on the best of fashion from the MENA region in Paris, a renowned capital of the fashion industry.
Fashion Trust Arabia is a non-profit initiative launched in 2018 under the patronage of HH Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser as honorary chair, with co-chairs HE Sheikha Al-Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani and Tania Fares, to support up-and-coming fashion designers from the Middle East and North Africa region.
Many well known personalities from the fashion world such as Carine Roitfeld, Elie Saab and Farida Khelfa were invited to the Qatar Embassy for a reception.

VCU graduate Fatima Fahad Al Baker mixes craftsmanship with childhood memories and her love for textures and colours in her designs. This series of photos present Fatima's senior collection for Fashion Trust Arabia, where she designed pieces that have a strong link to womanhood and her Qatari roots.
