European Heritage Days
As part of the Qatar-France Year of Culture 2020, the Embassy of Qatar to France participated, for the first time, in the 37th edition of the European Heritage Days.
The events were opened by Ambassador of the Qatar to the French Republic Sheikh Ali Bin Jassim Al-Thani at the embassy headquarters in central Paris (known as the Landolfo-Carcano palace, built in 1868).
The embassy opened its doors to the public, with visitors from Paris and other French regions enjoying murals and oil paintings, as well as sculptures of famous French and European painters present within the palace.
Other buildings participating included the Elysee Palace, the Parliament House, Senate building and Matignon Palace, as well as many of the most prominent museums, universities, historical libraries and archaeological sites in Paris.
