E-Sport Tournament

During the Qatar-France 2020 Year of Culture and ahead of the forthcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, Qatar Museums and Paris Saint Germain Esports offered 1,024 citizens and residents of Qatar and France the opportunity to participate in an exciting e-sports tournament.

Following a first round of qualifiers, the best players represented their countries in a competitive final with live commentary in Arabic and French, by two talented players from the PSG Esports team, Ahmed Al-Meghessib and Arsène Froon.

The first e-sport competition to be played on EA SPORTS FIFA 21 football video game, the tournament was broadcast live on the TWITCH platform in collaboration with PSG, with prizes including Official Paris Saint-Germain merchandise.
