Shangri-La Hotel, Doha
A Contemporary Chinese Painting and Arabic Calligraphy exhibition was held at the Shangri-La Hotel, hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Doha as part of events held to mark the Qatar-China 2016 Year of Culture.
The exhibition aimed to promote a greater understanding of the artistic significance of the Arabic scriptures and increase awareness about the value and beauty of the art of Islamic calligraphy and was a great success.
