Yemeni traditional fashion showcase at the National Museum of Qatar

A spectacular fashion photoshoot took place at the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) in Doha, showcasing Yemeni men and women’s traditional wear from different regions of the country, to share the beauty of Yemeni culture with local people in Qatar. A subsequent music event will follow on August 19th and 20th at the Katara Village in Doha to celebrate local Yemeni music.

In collaboration with the Embassy  of Yemen in Qatar, the photographs taken showcase the pieces and highlight styles from Yemen’s different governorates and regions. Here you can learn more about the outfits and individual accessories that make up these elaborate garments:
