Visitors were welcomed to Doha’s Fire Station with striking audiovisual projections and live music performances by renowned Qatari composer and musician Dana Al Fardan and others.

Members of the public were also invited to attend short film screenings showcasing the creative talent of the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia region by Doha Film Institute and the Virgil Abloh “Figures of Speech” exhibition. The atmospheric courtyard featured food trucks such as “Ralph’s Coffee” by Ralph Lauren.

Marking the beginning of a year of specially curated museum and art exhibitions; film, music and food festivals; and other cultural exchanges taking place between Qatar and other nations across the MENASA region, the two-day opening event was hosted by Qatar Museums.
