JEDARIART - San Francisco

San Francisco, USA

For the San Francisco edition of the JEDARIART public art initiative, Qatar-USA 2021 Year of Culture partnered with Mission Art 415, a non-profit organisation working to shift the public perception of street art in the city.

Qatari artist Mubarak Al-Thani collaborated with Wes Wong to create Mission 974, a mural merging the skylines of San Francisco and Doha at the 24th Street and Mission Street BART Plaza Station.

In partnership with local organisations, JEDARIART enabled Qatari artists to bring their unique style, creativity and celebration of Qatari culture to the walls of different cities throughout the USA.

The project featured the work of Qatar-based artists Nada Khozestani, Fatima Al- Sharshani, Mubarak Al Thani, Muna Al-Bader, Ahmed Al Jufairi, and Mubarak Al Malik.
