JEDARIART - DC

In partnership with local organisations, JEDARIART enabled Qatari artists to bring their unique style, creativity and celebration of Qatari culture to the walls of different cities throughout the USA. 

The sixth JEDARIART mural painted during the Qatar-USA 2021 Year of Culture, emerging artist Ahmed Al Jufairi completed his stunning piece in Washington, DC.

Qatari artist Ahmed Al Jufairi stands on a ladder in front of a red brick wall, painting a mural during JEDARIART in DC.

"Flower" represents seeds blossoming into kindness, knowledge and enlightenment. This mural was made possible with the partnership of the Qatar Embassy and the International Student House.

A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar (VCU-Q) with a BFA in Painting and Printmaking, Ahmed Al Jufairi has hosted several solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Qatar and Internationally.
