This educational initiative promoting the Arabic language and culture was a collaboration between the British Council, Ministry of Education and Qatar Foundation during the Qatar-UK Year of Culture in 2013.
The aim of the project was to create opportunities for young people in the Uk to learn Arabic, grow the number of Arabic teachers, and improve understanding of the Arab world across the UK.
Over 50 selected schools in Birmingham, Manchester and London participated, grouped into local clusters to support one another and thus share resources, experiences and activities.
