Qatar International Art Festival 2022
2022 marks the 4th edition of the Qatar International Art Festival (QIAF). One of the largest art festivals in Qatar, QIAF provides a platform for artists both in Qatar and from around the World. The festival has supported many international artists in gaining recognition and selling their artworks in Qatar.
Festival Programme and Activities
Monday, 26th September
Paintings and Sculptures Exhibition Opening
10.00 am to 10.00 pm (Red Carpet VIP Opening : 11:00 am)
Tuesday, 27th September
12 Master Classes from participating artists.
9.30 am - 12.30 pm and 2.20 pm - 5.30 pm
- Mayada Nazha, Italy: Influence of Arabic Architecture and Islamic Calligraphy in the World.
- Edward Bakst, USA: Presenting master class on "Imagine".
- Shiba Sarfraz Khan, India: Rhythmic Painting.
- Mikeya Darshon Brown, USA: Mastering Ditigal Art.
- Ekaterina Borisova, Russia: The Social & Educational Project “I’m Drawing The Horse”.
- Shakhnabat Alimagomedova, Russia: “Carpet Symbols in Abstract Painting”
- Dushan Ristovski, Macedonia: Mobile Phone Art.
- Aliaksandra Bautruk, Switzerland: Demonstration of overglaze painting on porcelain . "Classic cornflower"
- Statira Alyea, Netherlands: Introduction to printmaking
- Anca-Sonia, France: Perception on light and shadow in the open space
- Zhila Ebadi, Iran: Collage Making
- Siddiqa Juma, United Kingdom: Layered graphic patterns, worked as filigram, in a unique technique.
The Master Classes will be followed by a networking dinner for all the artists.

A decade goes by quickly when you’re greeting the world.
This is the 10th Year of Culture. So many new ideas and collaborations have been created over the past decade from Qatar-Japan in 2012 until now, when for the first time, we're partnering with an entire region - MENASA. Here’s to many more years of connecting with old friends and friends to be.
