The Doha Film Institute is delighted to present the 2022 Special Edition of the Ajyal Film Festival. This year’s format is a little different as film screenings will be exclusively for Ajyal Jurors.

DFI's unmissable Jury Experience will give selected jurors access to the very best in international cinema, inspiring talks, exciting workshops and thought-provoking masterclasses—all in an innovative hybrid format.
The Ajyal Jury Competition is the core component of the festival and presents the chosen jurors aged 8-25 with the incredible opportunity to decide Ajyal’s competition winners.
The directors of the winning films are granted funding toward their next film, so jurors are empowered to support and promote future content that is relevant and meaningful to them.
10th Anniversary
A decade goes by quickly when you’re greeting the world.
This is the 10th Year of Culture. So many new ideas and collaborations have been created over the past decade from Qatar-Japan in 2012 until now, when for the first time, we're partnering with an entire region - MENASA. Here’s to many more years of connecting with old friends and friends to be.
