10th Anniversary Ceremony and Desert Rose Premiere
The National Museum of Qatar, Doha
Years of Culture presents the world premiere of the Desert Rose symphony by Syrian American composer Malek Jandali performed by the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra at the National Museum of Qatar.
Open to the public, the concert will form part of the official celebrations in Doha to mark the 10th Anniversary of Years of Culture. Tickets for the event can be purchased from the link below.
World Premiere
The Desert Rose by Malek Jandali
Syrian Composer and Pianist Malek Jandali is the composer-in-residence at the National Museum of Qatar, which commissioned his Symphony No. 4 for String Orchestra and Symphony No. 6, “The Desert Rose.”
As part of the official celebrations to mark the 10th Anniversary of Years of Culture, the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra will perform the world premiere of The Desert Rose at the National Museum of Qatar.
