Letters of Faith - The Arabic Script in Indonesia is a specially curated exhibition at the Qatar National Library in Doha, in celebration of the Qatar-Indonesia Year of Culture 2023. The exhibition will highlight the rich shared Islamic heritage of Indonesia and Qatar, through a selection of extraordinary Qur’anic manuscripts.
The ornate Arabic texts on display have been chosen from Qatar National Library’s collection, as well as the collections of important Qatari and Indonesian cultural institutions. Visitors will learn about the history of Islamic culture in Indonesia and explore the influences of the Arab World through these delicate, artistic scripts.
