Picasso's Studios

Fire Station, Garage Gallery

Organised in partnership with the Musée national Picasso-Paris, the Picasso’s Studios exhibition at Fire Station gave visitors a fascinating insight into the artist’s creative spaces throughout his life.

Exhibition Tour–Picasso's Studios

Displayed chronologically, the exhibition focused on the eight studios where the artist worked, including Le Bateau Lavoir, Studio at rue Schoelcher, Castle at Boisgeloup in Normandy, Studio at rue des Grands-Augustins, Fournas Studio, Studio of “La Californie,” and Vauvenargues Castle to the Mas de Notre Dame de Vie in Provence.

Part of the cultural programme during the Qatar-France 2020 Year of Culture, the exhibition featured 108 extraordinary artworks by Picasso curated by Virginie Perdrisot-Cassan from the collection of the Musée national Picasso in Paris, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints and ceramics.
