The Doha Film Institute is launching an online experience that encompasses masterclasses, talks, and screenings during the month of March. Masterclasses will be taught by the likes of French auteur Claire Denis, BAFTA and Academy Award® nominated cinematographer Phedon Papamichael, internationally celebrated director and Cannes veteran James Gray, Silver Lion winning film director and screenwriter Jessica Hausner and Academy Award® winning sound designer Mark Mangini.
A conversation with Lebanese singer-songwriter Yasmine Hamdan, 13 March, and French photographer Brigitte Lacombe, 14 March, will also take place. A selection of acclaimed feature-length and short films made with the support of DFI and offering audiences fresh, original perspectives from the MENA region and beyond.
These masterclasses, talks, and screenings will then be available on-demand until 25 March.
